Fantastic experience, great equipment, reasonably priced. Directed to skimium around the corner to collect but supported very well (even though they sorted the skiers first.....we know boarders come 2nd ....especially british)...still had a great experience.

Very well equipped rental shop with friendly helpful staff, we hired everything from skis, snowboards, touring skis and snowboards and avalanche bags and interchanged throughout our weeks stay and were very happy with the service and equipment and reasonable price. I recommend and will come again. Thanks

We booked 4 sets of intermediate skis and boots on line from Alves Sports - which is situated at the stairs Prorel Gondola in Briancon. This was one of the most reasonably priced rental services in Briancon (Serre Chevalier) We new the quality would be good as two families we know had already rented from them previously and gave us some great feedback. We were very happy with our choice. Nicely waxed skis with good edges and clean good quality boots. From first entering the store all four of us were fitted and ready to ski in less that 25 minutes even though our trip was in the School Holidays. We found the service to be friendly and helpful from all the people that served us. After a morning on the slopes my boots proved to be a little on the large side - so I returned to the store, which was easy to do as it is so close to the gondola. The staff were so helpful and made me feel really comfortable about changing them - I was back out skiing with my family in no time. At the end of the week - we returned the Skis on the Sunday evening around 4:45pm - and yet again the service was great. We have recommended Alves Sports to our friends who go out next week and I will rent from them again when I return later in the season. Congratulations Alves Sports you could teach some of the other rental shops a thing or two!
